Wonderful Week

It's been an exciting week in the neighborhood. I got safely to Jeff and Holly's Saturday afternoon near Cedar Falls and I settled in for a wonderful weekend of being snowed in at their 'lodge'.

I had an absolutely wonderful time visiting our CF church- an OPC is in the building now, hearing from the pastor how much they LOVE the kitchen I designed and fellowship hall addition headed by Steve back in the 80s.

I stopped in at 1416 Hawthorne, our old house and got a complete tour. A family with 6 boys lives there, 1 1/2 yr. old twins, 3, 4, 6, and 15? It was so much fun. A number of things had changed, but they love the house.

I also visited Renee Crandall Veenstra who homeschools 2 of their 4 children. I was able to get home Tuesday evening.

Wednesday Anne and the kids arrived for a week of 'homeschool' at grandma's, beginning with viewing a lunar eclipse. The kids took almost all these pics:

Then we went to Dad's birthday party this afternoon.
